Full Job Description
Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Help desk: 6 years (Preferred)
- Windows: 4 years (Preferred)
- Desktop support: 3 years (Preferred)
- US work authorization (Preferred)
A day in the office looks like this:
- Answering incoming IT support calls via phone and IT Service Desk ticketing system
- Providing timely support to end users of PCs, Macs, iPhone® and Android® devices, and multiple business applications
- Identifying, investigating and remediating alerts as part of our network operations center team
- Assigning tasks and work requests; performing follow-ups as needed to ensure resolution
- Providing outstanding customer service under stress and time pressures
- Establishing and maintaining an excellent working relationship with end users
- Investigating and solving desktop and other systems-related issues
- Presenting information clearly and logically with the ability to explain technical issues in plain, non-technical language
- Recognizing high-priority issues and responding accordingly
- Assisting fellow team members and performing other duties as needed
The Ideal candidate:
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication, good documentation experience
- Deep understanding and familiarity with Microsoft desktop operating systems and productivity applications
- Experience with testing and troubleshooting PC’s
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- The ability to work with a small, highly agile team
- The ability to adapt to rapidly changing requirements and strategies
- Experience with ServiceNow is A PLUS!!
- Proficiency in MS OS: Windows 10, Office 365, Enterprise tools for OS deployment, software distribution, client setups for Applications.
- Troubleshooting and managing Microsoft Windows based environments
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory
- Experience with Imaging and Configuring PCs Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
- Troubleshoot skills and basic networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP, DNS, DHTP)
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 – $50.00 per hour
